Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook meals according to menu specifications and dietary requirements.
- Assist in planning and organizing catering events or daily meal production.
- Ensure all food is prepared, stored, and served following strict hygiene and safety standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and food prep areas.
- Assist with inventory checks and manage stock rotation.
- Collaborate with kitchen and catering teams to meet production schedules.
- Ensure food presentation meets company and client standards.
- Report any equipment or operational issues to the supervisor.
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous experience in catering, hospitality, or food preparation preferred.
- Culinary qualifications are an advantage but not essential.
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and portion control.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Team player with excellent communication skills.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and evenings.
- Physical fitness to stand for long periods and handle kitchen tasks.
