Administrative Assistant / Office Administrator

Job Description

Our client, a dynamic organisation with multiple sites across Germany, is seeking an organized and proactive Administrative Assistant to support office operations. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring smooth administrative processes, maintaining accurate records, and facilitating effective communication between teams. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and thrives in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the efficiency and success of a collaborative workplace.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide general administrative support to managers and operational teams.
  • Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and documentation.
  • Manage incoming calls, emails, and correspondence professionally.
  • Schedule meetings, coordinate calendars, and organise office activities.
  • Maintain accurate filing systems, both digital and physical.
  • Liaise with internal departments, suppliers, and clients as required.
  • Assist with onboarding and support of new employees.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and data protection regulations.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Previous administrative or office support experience preferred.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; German language skills are a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and office software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail, reliability, and professional attitude.
  • Experience in logistics, manufacturing, or corporate office environments is an advantage.
