Job Description
Our client, a leading airline catering company with operations across multiple locations throughout Europe, is seeking motivated and reliable Airline Catering Operatives to join their team. In this role, you will prepare, assemble, and deliver meals for airline passengers, consistently upholding the highest standards of food quality, safety, and hygiene. This position is ideal for individuals with catering or food preparation experience who thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and take pride in delivering excellent service.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, assemble, and package meals according to airline specifications and flight schedules.
- Ensure all food is prepared, stored, and transported following strict hygiene and safety standards.
- Check and inspect food items for quality, freshness, and correct portioning.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet tight production deadlines.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
- Handle and operate catering equipment safely and efficiently.
- Report any issues with food quality, safety, or equipment to supervisors.
- Assist with inventory checks and stock rotation to minimise waste.
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous experience in catering, food preparation, or hospitality is preferred but not essential.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to hygiene standards.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Physically fit and able to handle lifting, standing for long periods, and repetitive tasks.
- Flexibility to work in multiple locations and varying shift patterns.
